4-6-09 Term 2 Art Diaries

This term, we have been making masks out of three animals.

The animals that i have used are:

The Pig-

I choose the pig because it resembles me.I love the colour pink, and i can be a bit of a slob at times. Other than that i reselble a pig because i like to have fun. I love pigs when they are little because of how cute they are.

I used the pigs nose and face shape in my mask, and it now is looking pretty good. I also used the pigs ears.

The Duck/Goose-

I choose the goose because geese always have fasinated me. Their longs necks, and their pointed beaks. So i decieded to put it in my mask. I used the gooses beak. I make it long and sharp as it is in this picture.

The Shark-

I choose the shark to add some aggressiveness into my mask. I thought my mask was a bit bland with the animals i put in , so I added an animal that would make my mask scary. I thought a shark would work perfectly with that. i used the sharks fin on my mask.

I choose this picture over the others because it stood out. It was very pretty the writing and the colour matched the picture. The painting stood out which matched the quote. It helps with not littering because it says, “there is no heaven on earth, but there are pieces of it”, meaning you cannot litter apart of heaven. That quote matches the painting because the flower is shining out from the dark. It symbolises the heaven part of the painting. I chose it because it all matches.

If i were a book i would be a diary because i like to be organised & know whats happening throughout the year!

If i were an animal i would be a leopard because i like to be lazy & lie around but when i want to i have heaps of fun.

If i were a movie i would be The movie musical, MAMMA MIA because i love to sing

If i were a food i would be sushi because i am tied up not going anywhere but i want to go places like when someone bites sushi and it goes everywhere

If i were a colour i would be rainbow because i believe lifes full of surprises you never know whats around the corner like you don't know whats at the end of a rainbow.

If i were a shape i would be a swiggle because i try to always be relaxed no matter what!!

If i were a piece of clothing i would be a loose t-shirt because i am flowy

If i were a country i would be USA because my life is usually busy but i am also relaxed
